Accessibility at HY-X
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.hy-x.de including all language versions (German, English, Chinese).
Our Commitment
We aim to make our website accessible to all people – regardless of technical requirements or individual abilities. Our optimizations are based on BITV 2.0, WCAG 2.1 and EU Directive 2016/2102.
Our content is regularly reviewed, updated and expanded to ensure the highest possible level of accessibility.
Measures Already Implemented
- Optimized color and contrast settings
- Consistent navigation structure across all languages
- Screen-reader-friendly ARIA attributes
- Optimized heading hierarchy
- Clear link texts and accurate page titles
- Complete alt texts for all relevant images
- Removal of redundant or outdated elements
- Review of all main pages (DE / EN / ZH)
- Review of all published blog articles
- Regular technical tests (WAVE, Lighthouse)
Results of the Accessibility Review (as of 22 November 2025)
All pages were tested using WAVE WebAIM, Google Lighthouse and manual testing.
Main Pages (DE, EN, CN)
- 0 errors in all language versions
- 0 contrast errors (external modules excluded)
- Alerts are recommendations only
- AIM score consistently 9.7–10 out of 10
- Lighthouse accessibility score 96–100%
Blog Articles
All published blog articles were reviewed separately.
- No accessibility errors
- AIM score 9.8–10 out of 10
- Notes regarding optional heading structures
YouTube embeds: Notices in accessibility tests refer exclusively to the YouTube player itself and do not constitute accessibility barriers according to the WCAG.
Contact Form
The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA. WAVE reports the following:
- “Missing form label”
- “Invalid domain for site key”
These notices originate solely from the external Google script and cannot be technically modified. The form fields themselves fully comply with accessibility requirements.
Elements With Limited Technical Influence
The following components are provided by third-party services and can only be adapted to a limited extent:
- YouTube video player
- Google reCAPTCHA
- Browser/system components of the theme
These elements were considered but do not represent relevant accessibility barriers.
Multilingual Content
The website is fully available in German, English and Chinese (simplified). All language versions meet accessibility requirements.
